living, decorating, and eating in hattiesburg, mississippi

This is a blog about living, decorating, and eating in a smallish town in south Mississippi – where finding food and décor that work for me can be a challenge.  (I’m a vegetarian, for one thing.)  I’m also, like so many of us, budget bound: Daniel and I are writers and teachers, not jet-setters. But we love it here and are embracing the challenges.

By the way, the title of this blog comes from John Ashbery’s lovely poem, “How to Continue,” which you can read (or hear him read) here.

Kyna and Buddy, our two rescued greyhounds.
